Pinterest to Drive Traffic and Grow Email List
Read Part 3 of Our Story

Hi Creadora!
Welcome back to Part 3 of our behind-the-scenes look at how we helped one of our clients build traffic and grow her business.
Remember in Month 1 when we decided to stick with Pinterest for a bit longer even though it didn’t have the most amazing results?
In this email, you’ll see why.
At this point, we’re at month 3 with our client and we’re talking Pinterest. A platform that helped us drive traffic and became a game-changer for her affiliate marketing revenue.
If you missed part 1 or 2 of this story make sure to read the previous emails.
Now, let's dive into what happened in Month 3.
Why Pinterest?
Pinterest is more than just a social platform; it’s a visual search engine. It’s where users actively look for solutions and ideas, making it a powerful tool to attract traffic, especially if your business relies on visuals and niche content. In our client’s case, her audience was already on Pinterest, looking for exactly what she was offering: parenting tips, product recommendations, and how-tos.
Our Pinterest Strategy
At the beginning of our journey, though our focus was to grow our client’s email list, we also wanted to introduce a more sustainable, long-term traffic source that could also boost her affiliate marketing goals. Enter Pinterest.
Here’s what we did:
Pinning Consistently: We created and pinned high-quality visuals for her blog posts and affiliate products 5x a day. Pinterest rewards consistency, and we made sure her content was always fresh.
SEO for Pinterest: Just like Google, Pinterest requires some search optimization. We researched trending keywords in the parenting niche and optimized all pin descriptions, board titles, and bios for maximum reach.
Creating Click-Worthy Pins: The goal was to get people from Pinterest to her site. We used eye-catching designs and clear, compelling calls to action on every pin, focusing on topics that aligned with her affiliate products.
Promoting Affiliate Products: Instead of just driving traffic to blog posts, we linked directly to affiliate content, so even pins that led to informational posts would softly encourage purchases.
The Results?
By the end of Month 3, her Pinterest-engaged audience was up 1,378% and thanks to smart pinning strategies, many of those visitors converted into buyers through her affiliate links.

What happened next?
In the final part of this series, we’ll break down how our client continues to scale her business by building partnerships and collaborations.
Stay tuned!
