The holidays are upon us, and here at Creadora, we’re starting to wrap things up so we can enjoy the holidays with our families (and we hope you’re planning some time off too!).

Taking a break is important, but we also know the value of preparation to ensure a stress-free transition. If you’re closing up shop for the holidays, here are 5 things we’re doing this week to help us truly unplug while keeping everything running smoothly:

1. Clear Communication with Clients

We’ve let our clients know we’ll be offline for the next two weeks, so there are no surprises. Being clear about when you’re away and when you’ll be back keeps everyone on the same page.

2. Working a Bit Extra to Get Ahead

We’re putting in a little extra work this week to finish tasks for the next two weeks and the first week of January. This way, we’re not rushing to catch up when we return.

3. Scheduling Everything Ahead of Time

We’ve scheduled all our marketing and content for the next two weeks so that our business keeps showing up—even when we’re not. If you haven’t done this yet, it’s not too late to batch content and schedule it ahead.

4. Planning as If We’re Gone an Extra Week

Even though we’ll be back on January 6, we’re working as if we’ll be out that week too. Why? To avoid returning to an overwhelming to-do list and scrambling to hit deadlines. This gives us breathing room to ease back into work.

5. Setting Up Notices and Automations

We’ve put up out-of-office emails, scheduled reminders, and set up automations so our business keeps running. From client inquiries to lead generation, the systems we put in place will handle it all while we’re offline.

Taking these steps ensures we can fully enjoy the holidays, recharge, and come back ready to hit the ground running in the new year.
